Corporate and Team Events …

Highland Games

Watch a short video of our corporate days out here. Traditional Scottish Highland games can be organized in our stunning Lochside field overlooking Ben Lomond: *Highland dancing and bagpiping *Heavy Events – Tossing the Caber, shot putt for distance, weight over bar, hammer throw, farmers dash, and tug of war.

The games are designed to demonstrate the disciplines but also to involve group participation and create a fun competitive environment.

Sheepdog & Duck display

The Quack Commandos Road Show is presented by the Scottish Sheepdog School based at the farm. This hilarious road show demonstrates the skill and speed of the Border Collie in action with a flock of Indian Runner ducks.

The sheepdogs guide the ducks round a course of obstacles named after the different countries that make up the British Isles. e.g. The Irish Bridge, The Welsh Death-Slide –featuring a pool of starving Welsh fresh-water dragons, the Scottish Tunnel-of-Love, as well as the Olympic Slalom Course and back to the pen which is England. After putting the ducks round the course, our shepherds then invite teams of six members of the public / corporate group onto the course to see if they can move the ducks as efficiently as the sheepdogs!

The complete show lasts for approx 30 minutes and can be repeated. You have the opportunity of meeting both dogs and ducks at the end of the show. This show can be done in the games field.

Please bear in mind that you can do a selection of group events based on our activities page with food and refreshments provided at the farm.
