Scotland abounds in music and cultural festivals. The Celtic music scene has never been stronger here with many talented young musicians contributing to the nation’s cultural wealth.
The four major music festivals in Scotland are:
- Celtic Connections – the largest Celtic music festival in the World, held in Glasgow in January / February.
- The Glasgow International Jazz Festival in June.
- The Edinburgh International Jazz Festival in July / August
- The Edinburgh International Festival – the largest Cultural Festival in the World, in August / September.
